Aksel Bender Madsen Wingback Sofa for Bovenkamp, 1950s

Lounge sofa wingback 3-seat, designed by Aksel Bender Madsen. Aksel Bender Madsen worked for Bovenkamp in the 1950s and 1960s, this sofa was produced in 1958. Madsen helped Bovenkamp to integrate Danish craftsmanship in their furniture making. Very comfortable sofa with a teak and oak frame and contrasting green wool upholstery.
