A beautiful and iconic Cité armchair designed by Jean Prouvé and reissued by Vitra as part of the official Prouvé Collection (introduced in 2002). This example was produced in 2012 and remains in excellent, near-new condition.
The chair embodies Prouvé’s signature blend of industrial clarity and refined comfort, featuring a sculptural steel frame combined with a generously proportioned seat and backrest. Its relaxed, slightly reclined posture and integrated headrest make it exceptionally comfortable while maintaining a strong architectural presence.
