Dutch Modernist Chair by Dirk van Sliedregt for Rohé Noordwolde, 1960s

Elegant and special beautiful modernist chair, designed by Dirk van Sliedregt and made by Rohé Noordwolde in 1960s Netherlands. This chair is made of steel rods with a back and seat, consists of 37 wooden slats in total. The slats are made of afrormosia and beechwood and are held together by a total of three metal rods. The chair makes a beautiful interior item and can be used as i dining room/ desk/ lounge chair. The chair was introduced at the trade fair of 1960 and was depicted in the magazine ‘De Vrouw en Haar Huis’ in April 1960.
