Early production original lounge chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Heman Miller, 1950s The 'LCM" chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, is the result of years of experimentation in which the designers were looking for new processes to adapt three-dimensionally molded plywood to the body shapes as closely as possible. The result was where both the seat and the backrest are made of plywood and rests on a metal frame. The organic shape and the warmth of the wood invite you to relax.
