Jacob Kielland Brandt table handcrafted for Christiansen, 1960s

Handcrafted pine wooden table by Jacob Kielland Brandt, 1960s for Christiansen, Denmark. This is a recognizable Scandinavian Modern period piece by its specific shape, elegant curves and construction method. The tabletop is refurbished and refinished with a ultra-mat lacquer showing the natural color of the table. Beautiful in contrast with the more darker base of the table. We sell a matching bench in another listing. The designer won the Cabinetmaker Guild price in 1960.
