Stunning Set of 3 FB18 Scissor Chairs by Jan Van Grunsven for UMS Pastoe, 1955

Set of three. Rare modernist low-sitting 'Scissor' chairs designed by architect Jan van Grunsven in 1959 and produced by UMS/Pastoe(famous Dutch designed furniture manufactur), Utrecht, Netherlands. Van Grunsven worked at the architect studio Gerrit Rietveld during 1950s-1960s. Laminated layers of plywood of the back of the chair and their modernist shape feet. Model name- FB 18 Belongs to the "Combex" series. In good original condition with newly upholstered seating in a green kvadrat fabric.
