Vintage Modern Design Rosewood and Chrome Wall Mounted Coat, Hat Rack, 1960s

Of the period of Mid-Century Modern design wall-mounted coat and hat rack. Handsome coat rack consisting of aluminium structure with 12 rectangular pieces of rosewood veneered blocks. The coat rack has a top shelf made of two aluminium brackets with two narrow wooden planks finished with rosewood laminate and decorated at the front with aluminium rim. There are five removable polished aluminium hooks which can be hung on the wood rectangular cutout. There are two cavities at the back of the coat rack on the aluminium structure so that it can be fixed to a wall. The date of manufacture is printed on the back of the coat rack.
